autopatch - automated patching via ftp

autopatch is a command line tool to automatically check for and install patches from an ftp server. It accesses the ftp server using the perl Net::FTP module. Right now, the only supported platforms is Solaris.

The current version of autopatch is autopatch2-3.1.1. It is available from:

• Solaris 10 SVR4 Package: Sparc Intel
• Solaris 8/9 encap: Sparc/Intel

The older version (0.1.17+1) that is compatable with AIX is available as an encap from:

• AIX 5.1
• AIX 4.3

• No nfs mounting involved
