PSGConf - Modular System Configuration Tool

 

 

CITES configuration management tool for maintaining UNIX and UNIX like systems. Currently supported on the following platforms running perl ≥ 5.6.1:

  • AIX 4.3.3, 5.1
  • FreeBSD 4, 5, 6
  • Fedora Core 4
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.x and 4.x
  • Solaris 8, 9, 10 (both Sparc and x86)

Source code for the current and previous releases are located at: ftp://ftp-dev.cites.uiuc.edu/pub/psgconf/

PSGConf is currently packaged in the following formats:

  • Encap
  • SVR4 (Sparc, i386), look for UIUCpsgconf*.
  • RPMs (use rhn.cites.uiuc.edu as your RHN proxy server, and join the ev-3-test, ev-3-test-x86_64, or ev-3-test-rhel3 channels).
  • FreeBSD (i386. UIUCnet hosts can grab the most up to date version here).
